New Pharmacy Department & Ace Hardware Relocation To Offer More Selection
WOODLAND, Wash. – January 25, 2018- Hi-School Pharmacy, Inc. announced changes that will be taking place at the Woodland Hi-School Pharmacy and Woodland Ace Hardware locations. An extensive remodeling project of the existing Hi-School location, slated to begin this spring, will incorporate both operations under one roof.
The pharmacy will continue to operate in a new location in the front of the building. It will have a separate entrance to be more accessible for walk-in customers.
“During this transition, we will try to minimize the interruption of your shopping experience. The good news is that our pharmacy will continue to operate within the premises. We will continue to offer the great service you have come to expect from your locally-owned Hi-School Pharmacy,” said Rick Meyer, Chief Operating Officer.
Upon completion, the expanded Ace Hardware store will offer more items and brands than before. Brands such as Stihl, Weber, Toro and many more will be added to the shopping selection. It will also feature a covered garden center at the north end of the building, with a wider selection of plants and garden needs.
In addition to the hardware selections, Ace will continue to offer in-store services, including key cutting, screen repair, knife sharpening and computerized custom paint mixing.
“We are eager to present our new store to you soon and our hope is that it will exceed your expectations,” said Meyer.
Lydia Armstrong, current manager of the Hi-School Pharmacy store, will continue on as manager of the newly remodeled store. “We are excited to have a store with a wider selection of merchandise, combined with superior customer service, all in one locally-owned store,” said Armstrong.
Hi-School Pharmacy operates 30 pharmacies in Oregon and Southwest Washington, including their newest store located in the Minnehaha neighborhood of Clark County.
The space currently occupied by Ace Hardware in the Woodland Shopping Center has been leased by Grocery Outlet. The addition of this store will give the community, especially those on the east side, another option for groceries and sundry items.
