EXPANDED SELECTION OF MERCHANDISE TO BE OFFERED
VANCOUVER, WA December 15, 2016—America’s most celebrated “helpful place” will be opening the doors of its new, bigger retail location early next week. The hardware store is moving from its former location in the Salmon Creek Plaza Shopping Center into the space next door that Walgreens previously occupied next to Safeway. The new location is 15,000 sq. ft. of retail space, compared to the current 5,000 sq. ft. space. This will allow for an expanded selection of merchandise in most all categories.
The locally-owned and operated store has been designed to fill the needs of the Salmon Creek and North County communities, including solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products in categories such as lawn & garden, plumbing, electrical, hardware & fasteners, paint, automotive, pet supplies, household and more. Branded items include Craftsman Tools, Weber, Green Mountain and Traeger Grills, Scotts products and Valspar paint, to name a few.
Customer services include keys duplicated, locks re-keyed, screen repair, knife & scissor sharpening, carpet machine rental, glass cutting and propane exchange.
“We are excited to have a larger store to offer our customers a wider selection of merchandise. Our mission going forward is to provide customers with convenience, combined with superior customer service, all in a locally-owned store” said John Crawford, co-owner.
The new store décor features old photos from the local area that provide a nostalgic interest to customers who are long-time residents of Clark County.
The Hwy. 99 Auto Licensing service will also be located in the back of the new location, and will utilize a drive-up window for added convenience.
The Grand Opening festivities will take place Wednesday, January 25 through Sunday, January 29. Activities will include special sales, discounts, giveaways, grand prize drawings and much more. On Saturday, there will be a Green Mountain Grill demo featuring 50¢ hot dogs with a free pop, along with other grilled samplings.
